OPPORTUNITY
Create a dynamic, final "reveal" of Election Day 2018 for a campaign video
A friend and choreographer, Andrew Winghart, reached out about creating a large scale, low budget installation for his work on a campaign video for Swing Left.
The installation would be hinted at over the course of the video, with a final shot of dancers exiting the frame and revealing 11/6 (Election Day in 2018).

CHALLENGES
A low budget and tight timeframe
- The low budget prompted creative explorations of paint, umbrellas, ping pong balls, and blue duct tape
- Had 48 hours to select font and finalize final shot/location
- Install had to be completed in one day
- Set location (warehouse) had a lot of natural light, making it difficult to see the projection for install. Quick thinking, low budget solution was to purchase dark trash bags to try and block natural light

THE RESULT
An anamorphic projection as a dynamic final frame of the video.
Initial explorations of paint, umbrellas, and ping pong balls were thoughtfully integrated into the choreography and set design.
